During the seminar held during this past CraftWeek - the 'Master of the Medium' for Clay - Warren McKenzie was asked about the future of the medium. Warren - one of the pioneers of the American clay-arts movement - said that he had "no fear for the future after seeing the works at the Mount Rainier studios - (Margaret Boozer @ Red Dirt Studio, Novie Trump, Laurel Lukaszewski). "The ceramic artists were beside themselves in this high praise.
